Standard Bank Student Loan Online Application Web and Mobi Site
Prezence recently developed the Standard Bank Student Loan online application process. The system allows users to apply for a student loan from the web or from their mobile phones in less than 10 minutes.
The application process is extremely user friendly. As the applicant completes their information on the web or mobi site the system adapts subsequent questions based on answers provided by the applicant in previous questions. The system automatically calculates the loan amount that each applicant is eligible for and offers applicants the opportunity to add surety or change their loan amount if required.
Throughout the online application process students receive sms and email notifications to guide them on their way. In addition to this, if surety is added to an application, the system communicates with the individual selected to stand surety (via email and sms) to ensure that surety consent is received speedily to guarantee fast and efficient processing.
Prezence developed the backend functionality of the application system for the Processing Centre and for individual Standard Bank branches. The Processing Centre and dedicated branches can log into the system to view and process all incoming applications. As applications are processed the system reflects the current status to allow administrators to conveniently track the process and take required action. The advanced searching tool permits administrators to search through applications fast and efficiently. Sophisticated tracing tools allows management to review detailed statistics on interest and applications made.
The applicants are able to log into the online application web or mobi site at any time to track the progress of their application. This up to date tracing functionality is achieved by allowing dedicated administrators at the processing centre and individual branches to tick each completed stage of the application process in the backend system. Applicants are also kept up to date throughout the process via email and sms.
