Globe Tracker
The PS Globe Tracker campaign offered consumers a chance to win 1 of 5 themed trips around the globe. Each trip consisted of an action packed tour around three cities. The campaign was promoted by themed pack inserts that encouraged users to enter the competition by solving a simple anagram and then sms’ing their answer to a short code number. Once entered, the PS call centre called the entrant back to confirm their age, gather their contact details and to grant them access to the website and mobi site.
Prezence were responsible for developing all the digital touch points of the campaign including the interactive sms entry mechanism, the website and the mobi site.
The interactive sms mechanism was setup to validate all incoming entries and to automatically reply with a custom message that let the entrant know if they were correct or not. The sms functionality also integrated with the call centre’s system so that all successful entrants’ details were automatically added to the call queue.
The website offered consumers the opportunity to enter monthly mini competitions for the duration of the campaign with smaller prizes up for grabs. Users were tasked with solving online puzzles and quizzes in order to enter. They could also leave fridge poetry on the site for everybody to read. The fridge poetry consisted of words relevant to the various themes and proved very popular with the consumers. Site visitors could also find out more about the various cities that formed part of the main prize.
With the tobacco legislation being incredibly strict, functionality had to be implemented on the site that ensured only the registered entrants (all 18 or older) could access the website. A secure login and a random verification system were used to guard against any illegal logins. Users were sms’ed a unique reference number after logging in that they needed to supply to the site before gaining access to the site content.
The mobi site offered similar content to the website and also offered the consumers the opportunity to enter the monthly mini competitions from the comfort of their cell phone. The mobi site had the added advantage of automatically detecting if the phone accessing the site had permission to view the site content which simplified the security login process when compared to the website.

Savanna, a popular South African cider, has managed through quirky advertising to establish a cult-like following. Savanna loyalists often go as far as to pitch their own Savanna ads, so by using material from the latest TV ad, Prezence created a campaign microsite where consumers were given the chance to make their own Savanna ads online. -
Merseystate
The Merseystate website promotes the music of South African band Merseystate and features an animated street scene with clickable billboards that bring up the various content sections. -
A Million Faces
Prezence are behind the innovative digital campaign for much loved local band, Watershed, and launched the novel online and mobi platform for the South African supergroup in celebration of their forthcoming 10-year anniversary hits album. -
MTV Portal and CMS
Prezence redeveloped the entire MTV base portal and Content Management System.
