Activity Village
The preview is a prototype demo of the concept and has not been fully optimised as yet.
Prezence was commissioned to create a fully 3D online web experience for Saudi Arabian Schools aptly called the Activity Village. Saudi Arabian schools and students compete in various sporting and academic events and are allocated points based on results.
This engenders healthy competition and pride amongst the students of the various schools. The Activity Village is centred around regions, cities and schools in Saudi Arabia and students are able to log in to this site, find their school and view their points stats and school events, and compare them to other students and schools stats.
The site was developed using a Flash 3D engine and the entire environment is within a 3D space. Users can zoom in and out of, as well as rotate within, the various scenes of the village, giving the user a very rich interactive experience.
