Klipdrift
This dual language experiential website developed for draftFCB is based on the popular TV advert (Met Eish!) for South Africa's most popular brandy. The site features a photo-realistic illustrated version of the Klipdrift house and its surrounds that feature prominently in the ad, allowing for instant brand recognition and the feeling of 'coming home'.
Users can interactively explore every nook and cranny of the house and the site features plenty of interactive elements to keep the user constantly engaged and entertained. Included within the house are simple yet addictive and innovative online games including darts, pool and a 'kettie' game which dramatically increase stickiness by enticing users to spend longer than usual on the site.
Prezence expertise enabled the brand to create strong brand messaging in fun and non-intrusive ways.
The site is offered in both English and Afrikaans and content for the Events Calendar and the Galleries are easily managed via the Prezence-developed, -deployed and -maintained CMS.
There are two ways for the user to navigate the site: they can elect to explore and discover the content themselves by navigating around the house using doors, lights and looking for entrance points, or they can use the interactive floor-plan to jump to specific rooms filled with content and interactive elements.
The site is an extremely immersive brand experience for the user and carries through the tone of the Klipdrift brand language. The site includes rich content such as recipes, downloads and brand info, as well as lots of surprises. Hint: make some toast and see what happens!
Other features include interactive ‘real world’ navigation and features, time specific scenery and stage, ongoing experience evolution, and profiling and data collection.
